1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or playing Card Quest (“the Game”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not play the Game. These Terms apply to all players regardless of location.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to play Card Quest. By playing, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

Your Card Quest account is linked to your Facebook account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Facebook account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Virtual Currency and In-App Purchases

4.1 Virtual Currency

Card Quest contains virtual currencies including Coins, Crystals, and Jade. These currencies have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and are not refundable except as required by applicable law.

4.3 No Refunds

All purchases of virtual currency are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction. If you believe a purchase was made in error, please contact Apple or Google support directly.

All content in Card Quest, including but not limited to game design, artwork, card names, abilities, and code, is owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Game without prior written permission.

7. Seasonal Resets and Game Changes

Card Quest operates on a seasonal system. At the end of each season, ratings and certain rewards may be reset. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the Game at any time, including game balance, card abilities, currency values, and features, with or without notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Game will be available at all times, error-free, or free of bugs. We are not responsible for any loss of game progress, virtual currency, or items due to technical issues, server downtime, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game, including loss of virtual items or currency. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the date at the top of this document when changes are made.
