1. Overview
Card Quest is played through Facebook Instant Games. You can request deletion of all personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains the two ways to do that and what to expect after submitting a request.
2. Option A โ Remove the App from Facebook (Recommended)
This is the fastest method and triggers an automatic deletion request directly from Facebook to our servers. No email or waiting required.
- Open Facebook (web, mobile app, or Messenger).
- Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Select Apps and Websites from the left-hand menu (web) or under Account Settings (mobile).
- Find Card Quest in the list of active apps and tap Remove.
- Confirm the removal. Facebook will notify our servers automatically.
3. Option B โ Email Request
If you cannot use the Facebook method above, or you have already removed the app and want to confirm deletion, you can email us directly.
Send an email to support.cardquest@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Removal Request” and include:
- Your in-game display name
- Your Help ID (found at the bottom of the in-game Settings panel)
- A short confirmation that you are requesting deletion of your account
We will process the request within 30 days and reply once deletion is complete.
4. What Gets Deleted
When a deletion request is processed, the following data is removed or anonymised:
- Your Facebook Player ID linkage
- Your display name and profile photo URL
- Game progress, card collection, decks, currencies, and match history
- Rating, leaderboard placement, and region selection
- Quest and milestone progress
- All active login sessions (you will be signed out everywhere)
5. What We Are Required to Retain
For legal and accounting compliance, the following limited data may be retained beyond deletion:
- Purchase transaction records (transaction ID, amount, date) for up to 7 years. These records contain no personally identifying information after your account is anonymised.
- Aggregated, non-identifying gameplay statistics used for balance and analytics.
6. Timing
- Option A (Facebook removal): automatic, usually within a few minutes of Facebook notifying our servers.
- Option B (Email): processed within 30 days of receipt.
